Japan, Imperial. An Order of the Golden Kite, V Class in Case Province of China measuring 106 mm x 71( (Kinshi kunsho). Instituted February 12, 1890. In silver with red, purple, yellow, blue, and white enamels, the badge depicting a golden kite above crossed ancient shields with two crossed spears and banners, on original striped green ribbon, measures 46. 2 mm (w) x 49. 9 mm (w), rivets on reverse, small areas of enamel cracks in the rays, in very fine condition.
